rpadminWe all grieve differently. Some of us want to be there till the very last moment. Take the little bone fragments between our fingers. We need the closure.
For some of us, it’s too much. We know we will lose the little control we have over our emotions. We will not be able to hold it together.
For those families, we take the funeral arrangements even more seriously. We are the stand-ins, the representatives of the poor families who are too overwhelmed to be there.
We make sure to dress them up beautifully in flowers, to pat their little heads and whisper a little blessing as we slowly push the bier in.
